Nous avons arpenté la base de données Bestor et nous en avons rapporté tous les acteurs, institutions, sociétés, reliques… du monde des sciences coloniales belges, afin d’en bâtir un tout nouveau portail. On y apprend entre autres quels savants furent recrutés par Léopold II pour ses missions économiques, comment le pouvoir colonisateur installa des laboratoires pour la lutte contre la mouche tsé-tsé, et de quels héros des sciences coloniales on peut encore rencontrer les statues en rue.
